Founded in 2014, the MASSCAP Training Center offers training and resources to enhance the ability of community organizations to serve their customers, develop their staff and boards, improve operations, expand capacity, and comply with funder requirements.

Training Calendar

The History of Community Action
Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Joe Diamond and Kathy McDermott will take us through the broad strokes from the creation of Community Action Agencies in 1964 through the 60 years of work that have led to where we are today! This is a session they lead each year for the MTC’s Leadership Development Institute, and their combined experience and knowledge of Community Action adds a Massachusetts-specific lens to this history. This training will be a great opportunity for new and long-time staff alike!
