Through its statewide network, MASSCAP partners with MyFriendBen to make public benefits access easy, clear, and dignified for Massachusetts residents.
MyFriendBen is a free, anonymous public benefits screener that helps Massachusetts residents quickly see which of more than 30 state and federal benefits and tax credits they may qualify for and what to do next. In about six minutes, users receive easy-to-understand results, along with a list of additional Massachusetts-specific resources, that can be bookmarked or emailed to return to later.
The tool does not collect immigration status and is available in 18 languages, helping ensure more households across Massachusetts can access support they need.
