The mission of PACE is to develop strategies and to mobilize resources to alleviate poverty in Greater New Bedford area.
Through partnerships, community engagement, and advocacy, we provide pathways to assist families and individuals in their efforts to realize economic opportunity and create meaningful connections to improve the quality of their lives.
SHI removes barriers to ensure that opportunities are available for all residents to obtain health services, child care, education, housing, employment and financial stability.
SMOC’s mission is to improve the quality of life of low-income and disadvantaged individuals and families by advocating for their needs and rights; providing services; educating the community; building a community of support; participating in coalitions with other advocates and searching for new resources and partnerships.
By strengthening and coordinating existing efforts, SSCAC’s mission is to eliminate poverty along the South Shore by affording everyone in need the opportunities for education, training and work; to live with dignity; to contribute to the full extent of their capabilities; and to participate in the workings of our society.
SPCA’s mission is to utilize and provide resources that assist people in need to obtain economic stability, ultimately creating a better way of life.
VOC is dedicated to eliminating poverty by providing the opportunity for our low and moderate income neighbors, families, and friends in the Greater Hampden County area, to achieve greater independence and a higher quality of life.
WCAC’s mission is helping people move to economic self-sufficiency through programs, partnerships, and advocacy.
