Digital Divide Network
(Hosted by the Benton Foundation, the Digital Divide Network is an invaluable resource for those interested in expanding access to computer technology and to the Internet. The site includes a comprehensive report by the Benton Foundation released in 1998 entitled Losing Ground Bit by Bit: Low-Income Communities in the Information Age. The report includes case studies of programs to widen IT access that have worked in a section entitled: "What's
Working?" The site also contains regularly updated news on the "Digital Divide" issue, links to funding and other resources, and an electronic newsletter, The Digital Beat.)
